Sphereing is a new extreme sport where you are rolled down steep hills inside a 12' inflatable ball. You and your chosen victim are strapped facing each other in the harnesses inside the ball, before tearing off down a hill at speeds of up to 30mph. The general reaction is to laugh hysterically as you descend the hill, rolling and bouncing! And don't worry, with a safety harness and 3-foot of air between you and the ground, you're entirely safe and are free to enjoy the unique sensation of defying gravity in a controlled environment. Agenda :
On arrival at the site you will strapped into the Sphere for your ride. Hang on tight and expect to feel dizzy when you reach the bottom. The two of you will share the Sphere and will have one roll down the hill. On purchasing this experience you will be sent a voucher valid until 30th June 2009. This voucher is for two people. This offer is valid on selected midweek dates only (no weekends or Bank holidays). The experience runs from March -October. Upon receipt of your voucher you may call the booking office to book a date and location for your experience. The experience involves G-forces similar to a fairground ride as such it is not recommended for the elderly or infirm. You cannot participate in a Sphere Mania Roll if you are *pregnant *suffering from high blood pressure, any heart condition or epilepsy *suffering from, or have ever had, any back or neck problems * under the influence of alcohol or drugs * undergoing medical treatment or have had an operation within the past 12 months *under 4 foot * less than 12 years old (Parental consent is required for up to the age of 18).
Please note that this experience is weather dependent and runs from the begining of April to the end of September each year.
